SCENE – 20
Bharath comes to Mandakini River area to meet his sister-in-law Sita, his cousin brothers Ram and Lakshman and enquired their well-being.
Sita was shown the Mandakini River, surrounding river-belt areas,
The entire river-belt was so pleasant and Sita, Ram and Lakshman felt happy to its environment and ambience.
Everywhere seen are the green fields, cattle, cows, river-flows, trees, birds and few ashrams.
On one day Bharath along with his few soldiers came to this Mandakini river-belt side where Sita, Ram and Lakshman were staying in a Kuteer.
Lakshman saw this Bharath from a far-away place and thought that Bharath along with his soldiers to wage a war on Ram. Lakshman got angrty on Bharath.
The same thing was informed to Ram by Lakshman.
Ram told Lakshman that Bharath was not a man to make a war on Ram.
Ram said like this – why to eliminate kith and kin, near & dear people and rule the Kingdom by Bharath. Then Lakshman, cooled down.
Bharat while searching for Ram and Lakshman staying place, came to the Kuteer where Sita, Ram and Lakshman were staying.
Bharat met Sita, Ram and Lakshman and discussed various points.
Bharat also one day performed meditation and dhyan along with Ram and Lakshman by wearing “Garments made with Jute and also had a Deer’s Skin mattress.
Ram learnt all the Ayodhya information from Bharath.
Ram enquired well-being of Kousalya, Kaikeyi and Sumitra.
Bharat told Ram that King Dasarath’s death information.

Bharath invited Ram and Lakshman to come down to Ayodhya and to rule Ayodhya as King.
Ram declined the offer of Bharath.
Ram said that, I’ll keep up the promise given to father and Kin Dasarath.
Then, Ram and Lakshman performed custom ceremony for the father’s death.
Ram had tears from his eyes.
Lakshman had also a sad face.
On later days, Kousalya, Sumitra, VasishtaMaharshi and Sumantha also met Sita, Ram and Lakshman, as a courtesy meet and enquired about the well-being. Kousalya and Vasishta also asked Ram to come back to Adyodhya and rule the Ayodhya Kingdom. But, Ram had rejected the appeal and request of Kousalya and VasishaMaharshi. Ram said that I will fulfill the desire of father and King Dasarath. Ram said that he can’t take advantage of King Dasarath’s death and rule the Ayodhya Kingdom.
Kousalya and Vasishta felt uneasy on Ram’s rejecting to coming back to Ayodhya.
Sita Ram and Lakshman were blessed by Kousalya, VasishtaMaharshi and other pundits and purohits.
Later, Bharat, his people and all others took the blessings of Bharadwaja muni, and left the Chitrakootami place for Ayodhya.
After reaching Bharat in Ayodhtya, Bharath wept and was feeling bad on this issue. Of course, Bharath also got angry on Kaikeyi.
Bharath gave many respects to Kousalya, Sumitra and Satrughn.
Bharath gave a promise to VasishtaMaharshi that Ram would be crowned as a King of Ayodhya, whenever he comes back to Ayodhya.
In the meantime, Bharath said that he will respect and take care of Kousalya, Sumitra, Satrughn
and all other pariwars, in a cordial way.

Sita, Ram and Lakshman reached AtriMaharshi Ashram. Ram & Lakshman were invited by rushis and munis etc.
