SCENE – 17

BharadwajaMaharshi indicates to Ram that Chitrakoota Hills, is an ideal and proper place for Ram’s stay.

From “Vatsa” Raj place, Sita, Ram and Lakshman made a forward move towards BharadwajaMaharshi’s area and met the Maharshi on this enroute to Maharshi’s place. They say all the hills, water falls, small villages, cultivable lands, cows, cattle, and enjoyed the entire area.

BharadwajaMaharshi came to know about Sita, Ram and Lakshman’s coming to this area and the Mabharshi planned to welcome and invite Sita Ram and Lakshman.

BharadwajaMaharshi enquired about the health of Sita, Ram and Lakshman etc.

For successful Vana vasa, the ideal place was Chitrakootami hills, would be good, Ram was told.

Ram agreed to stay at this place.

Sita Ram and Lakshman were blessed by BharadwajaMaharshi.

BhardwajaMaharshi told Ram that in this Chitrakootami, there won’t be much of other Maharshis, Munis. This place is meant for its peacefulness. Whoever stay here that they won’t think on any other things, and will lead a very pleasant and peaceful life. One can have deep dhyan and meditation here in Chitrakootami area.

After hearing all these things, Sita, Ram and Lakshman had fruits, milk etc and reached by night to BharadwajaMaharshi’s Ashram.

They took rest and slept that night in the Ashram.

Next day morning, they completed all their other works like dhyan, meditation and left for Chitrakootami Hills.

After that, Sita, Ram and Lakshman crossed Yamuna River and reached one place of Tree called “Syamamu”

“Syamamu” was the Tree name.

After taking some rest below this Tree, all three left for Chitrakootami Hills through the forest area.

They reached Chitrakootami Hills.

Ram had decided to set up a small “Kuteer” and wanted to live there, where ValmikiMaharshi’s Ashram was located.

Lakshman was told to construct a small hut like Kuteer for staying purpose.

Later Sita, Ram and Lakshman went to ValmikiMaharshi Ashram and met him there.

They took the blessings from ValmikiMaharshi.

Ram explained all the things to ValmikiMaharshi about his Vanavasa program (Deeksha).

Ram indicated to ValmmikiMahsarshi that they would like to stay near by Valmiki Ashram.

Lakshman after completing the Kuteer Hut, as per Vastu, made some Pujas and Yagas and entered in to the Kuteer Hut at an auspicious time.

Moreover, this Kuteer Hut was located very near to Ganga River. This place was meant for its pleasantness and peacefulness.

Whoever stays at this place, such people will forget all their previous thoughts, worries and hardships.
