Part 30 Sri Ramayana (Ayodhya Kaanda)
(Ayodhya Kaanda)
SCENE – 14
Sumantha (Minister) gets angry on Kaikeyi:
Sumantha (the minister in King Ayodhya Kingdom) has got angry at Kaikeyi.
Sumantha saw Kaika and said –
Look Kaika, I could understand your crooked ideas. You look to be spoiling the image of IkshwakuRajvans. You’re capable of doing any bad thing and can create bad elements.
No Brahmin purohit would like to stay in Ayodhya under your rule.
I know well that you have got your mother’s ill-feelings.
I will let you know your mother’s history.
Kaikeyi:
Look Sumantha, you need not tell me anything.
I don’t like to listen to you.
You look after your own work.
I had a lot of work to do.
(Ram was told by Kaikeyi to go to Aranyavasa with his dress only)
This was heard by Sumantha.
Then Sumantha told to Kaikeyi like this –
King Dasarath has said that Sita, Ram and Lakshman be given gold ornaments, diamond studded ornaments and other food ingredients and clothes.
Kaikeyi:
See Sumantha, please do not listen to King Dasarath.
There is no necessity to give any gold and diamond items etc., to Sita, Ram and Lakshman.
If such things are given, there will not be any gold or diamonds or silver items in this Rajmandir.
Sumantha:
All the things Kaikeyi said were informed to King Dasarath.
Previous Chapter : Part 29 Sri Ramayana (Ayodhya Kaanda)
King Dasarath:
He became angry with Kaikeyi.
He told Kaika angrily that you and Bharath rule this Ayodhya Kingdom.
I am not bothered.
With your crooked heart you are troubling all the people here.
What all bad things you have in your brain, we all know well.
You are making me weep in all respects.
You will get a lesson at an appropriate time.
For your sins, you will get punished.
I’ll also go to the forest along with Ram.
Then you will be set right.
Ram is a minute person.
Moreover, Ram has not done any sin.
You even have no knowledge when compared to Kousalya and Sumitra.
You all three sisters would have cooperated with each other, but you are not mingling with them.
You have much more political ambition to rule Ayodhya.
What happened to you Kaika, you’ve a goat mind.
When you’ll be getting enlightened Kaika.
Because of you, the entire Ayodhyanagar is getting disturbed.
People of Ayodhyanagar won’t praise your acts and deeds nor encourage you.
People of Ayodhya are blaming you.
Please know yourself even now, Kaika.
Even you’ve time to change yourself, Kaika.
Next Chapter : Part 31 Sri Ramayana (Ayodhya Kaanda)
Please invite Ram and make him crowned as King of Ayodhya.
Otherwise, this Ayodhya Kingdom will get smashed and become a nonsense Kingdom.
People of Ayodhya will never believe you.
People of Ayodhya have good faith on Ram.
There is no faith on Bharath.
No sooner Sita, Ram and Lakshman leave for forest, people of Ayodhya blame us, never give respect us and they even bang us.
Kaika, please know well, that people are observing us.
What all the things you’re doing will remain permanently in the history.
Because of you, the Ayodhya is getting blamed.
Ayodhya is getting a bad name.
Kaika, this is the time you please change your thinking.
Lest, you only will suffer and make all of us also land in problems.
