Though there was no invitation, Ravan suddenly entered the Rajdarbar, with his maya mantra powers.

Ravan was seen in the Rajdarbar at the time of the event proceedings.

The King Janaka:

King Janaka
King Janaka

Can you please tell me who you are?

You appear like a demon (Rakshasa appearance)

Which demon King, you are?

Where did you come from?

What’s your good name?

Ravan: (Demon/Rakshasa King of Lanka)

Rakshasa King of Lanka

I can lift the Bow, the Shiva Dhanassu, and become a successful person.

After this I will marry Sita.

After marriage with Sita, I’ll take her to my Kingdom, Lankanagar.

I heard the event information and came here.

I’ll take this (Bow) Shiva Dhanassu and also Sita to my Lana Kingdom.

The King Janaka:

Look, Lankadeeshawara, Ravana Brahma Raavanasura – We have not invited you to this event.

Why did you come here?

Ravan:

Rakshasa King of Lanka
Rakshasa King of Lanka

Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha.

Why do demons (Rakshasa’s) need an invitation?

Everybody knew well that demon’s need not have any invitations.

More than all I am the staunch devotee of Lord Shiva.

I’ll prove my power and strength here.

I’ll lift this Shiva Dhanassu.

I’ll marry Sita.

I’ll take Sita to my Kingdom, Lankanagar.

The King Janaka:

Why is this strength with power showing by force?

Without any invitation, you came here.

Still, you have come here.

So, you’ve come here.

So, you’ll have to wait till the end.

After that we’ll think of you.

Ravana:

What?

I’m the LankaadesshwarRavan Brahma.

I’m a staunch devotee of Lord Shiva.

I can’t wait here till the end? What?

Oh! What a pity to me.

Nonsense.

I Had made rushis, maharshis and munis made shivering.

I won over Navagrahadevathas

I have won over all devathas.

I defeated Lord Indra.

I conquered Lord Indra’s Kingdom

Still I wanted to conquer all the Kingdoms in this Universe.

You all people do not know my power and Shakti.

I’ll live this Shiva Dhanussu very easily.

I will lift this Bow and take it to my Kingdom Lanka.

I’ll marry Sita also.

I’ll take her to my Kingdom Lankanagar.

You all people support me in this aspect.

Vishwamitramaharshi:

Janaka raja, this Ravanasura is showing much interest to lift the Shiva Dhanassu.

So, immediately give him an opportunity to lift the Shiva Dhanassu.

The King Janaka:

Yes, Okay, Vishwamitramaharshiji.

Based on your guru bhakti (having confidence) I’ll give Ravana a chance to lift this Shiva Dhanassu.

(The King Janaka asks Ravana to come and open this Box and lift the Shiva Dhananussu -Bow):

Ravan:

Rakshasa King of Lanka
Rakshasa King of Lanka

I’ll fulfill my ambition.

I’ll show my power

I’ll show my strength

I’ll conquer all the Kingdoms.

I’ve destabilized a few of the Kingdoms too.

I’ve won many Kingdoms.

I kept Navagrahadevathas under my foot.

The King Janaka:

Why waste talking to Ravan.

Please open this Dhanussu Box.

Lift the Shia Dhanussu (Bow).

You prove your power and strength.

There shall be no invitation to Rakshas (demons).

There is no need for unwanted talk here.

Ravan:

(The “Shiva Dhanussu” Box is closed).

Ravan opens the Box with great difficulty, in spite of his power and strength.

At last, he opens the only box top.

He is sweating.

He gets tired.

He felt much disturbed

He does not understand what was going on.

He was losing control over his body and mind.

At one point of time he felt like falling down.

All the invitees in the Rajdarbar:

Look at Ravana and his anxiety.

All the people laugh at Ravana.

Each one in the Rajdarbar speaks to one another.

The King Janaka:

Worried and fearful.

Also gets sweating.

Ravan:

Rakshasa King of Lanka
Rakshasa King of Lanka

Tries to lift the Shiva Dhanussu with his one hand.

The Shiva Dhanuyssu does not move even an inch.

He tries to lift the Bow with two hands.

Still not even an inch, the Bow moved.

What is this Dhanussu (Bow), Ravan feels.

What is this fiction type event?

What is this surprise?

What happened to my strength?

Aha! What Shiva! What happened to all my powers and Shakti given to me.

I’m your staunch devotee Shiva.

What happened to all my power.

(Again with two hands Ravan tries to lift the Bow)

Bow
Bow

The Bow never moves.

Ravan gets full sweating.

Again and again tries to lift the Shiva Dhanussu.

But, the Bow never moves even an inch.

Ravan falls down.

After some time, he will try again, but in vain.

(All people in the Rajdarbar had a big laughter)

Invitees speak like this in the Rajadarbar:

Ravan says he is a strong man.

Ravan says, he has much power.

What happened to him today?

He has fallen down.

Was he not well?

He was a strongman, he won many Kingdoms.

He conquered devathas etc.

He boasted much

He spoke so many big words.

Now What happened to him.

Ravan:

Aha! What is this degradation?

What sin I’ve done.

Is this a dream or real?

What is this Shiva Dhanussu power?

What is this surprise to me?

There is some big power sitting on my head.

There is some unknown power ruling me.

Why did I come here?

What my heart said to attend this event.

I’m unable to understand.

Is Lord Shiva angry with me?

Or am I cursed by anyone?

(Ravan gets weeping and tears in his eyes seen)

Ravan thinks that I have to immediately leave this place.

That is the best thing.

Ravan, finally, disappears suddenly from the Raj Darbar.

All people in the Rajdarbar:

Get laughter at this incident.

People say, Jayaho, Janaka Raja, Jayaho.

The King Janaka:

Feel happy.

MantriSumantha, now please call each of the Rajkumar and ask them to lift the Bow.

Let the Rajkumar’s prove their strength and power.

After all, so also please call Rama.

Ram also to prove his power and strength.

We’ll see Rams power.

Sumantha (minister/mantra):

Okay maharaja, your order maharaja.

After completion of all the Rajkumars, Ram shall be called.

Many Rajkumars could not even open the Box.

Many Rajkumars could not lift the Bow i.e., Shiva Dhanussu.

All the Rajkumars utterly failed to open the top cover box and the Bow.

Finally, at the last, Ram was called to open the Top of the Box and to lift the Shiva Dhanussu.

Ram:

Look at Vishwamitramaharshi.

Also look at Vasishtamaharshi.

See his father Dasaradha.

(All will bless Ram from their places).

Vishwamitramaharshi:

Rama, you go and lift the “Shiva Dhanussu (Bow).

Ram:

Shiva Dhanussu (Bow)
Shiva Dhanussu (Bow)

He prays to all the Gods and puts prayers with folded hands to the Shiva Dhanussu box.

Ram opens the Shiva Dhanussu box very easily.

Ram lifts the Shiva Dhanussu with one hand.

Ram tries to tighten the rope to the Bow.

The Bow gets broken into two pieces with a very big sound.

Ram lifts the Bow at one.

One part of the bow was the hands of Ram.

Another part of the broken bow was hanging.
