(Ayodhya Kaanda)
SCENE- 21 (Last Scene in AyodhyaKaanda)
The incidents and reasons that Sita, Ram and Lakshman to move to Atri Ashram from Chitrakootami:
Many of the Rushis, Maharshi’s, Munis decided to leave Chitrakootami. There was a strong cause that a demon “Kharudu” was terrorizing all the people. During the yagnas/yagas/homas and on other functions, this “Kharudu” demon was making all the disturbances by throwing meat and pouring the blood. All the Rushi’s/Maharshi’s/Munis were tortured by this demon “Kharudu”.
Demon “Kharudu”was so headstrong and having proudness that nobody can do anything to him. All the Rushis and Munis were not coming forward to tell Ram and Lakshman. In this sphere, all the Rushis and local people etc, have decided to shift their base from Chitrakootami to some other trouble-free-area.
This information came to know by Sita, Ram and Lakshman. At one point of time, all the Rushisetc, told their problems and troubles confronted from the demon “Kharudu”.

Also, all the Rushis/Muni’s told Ram that “if you are a capable man, then you please kill this demon “Kharudu” and eliminate him”.
Even Ram and Lakshman were also told by the rushis/munis that they too have to face these demon “Kharudu” acts.
We are afraid of to live here, said all the rushis and munis.
Rushis/munis said to Ram that “if you also accompany with us to some other place, it will be good”
Ram said that please don’t fear for demon “Kharudu”.
We are here to provide security to uyou people from this demon “Kharudu”.
All the rushis/munis never listened to Ram’s word and started leaving to another place from Chitrakootami.
Ram warranted all those rushis, munis etc, not to leave the place.
So, in the entire Chitrakootami, there were no rushis, munis nor any person seen.
There was no Ashrams also in Chitrakootami.
In this context, there was no alternative to Sita, Ram and Lakshman except to shift their base to Atri Ashram.
In this aspect, Sita Ram and Lakshman reached Atri Ashram.
In Atri Ashram, Atri Maharshi invited cordially Sita, Ram, and Lakshman.
In this Atri Ashram, Sita got a companion that is Anasuya Devi.
Anasuya Devi is the wife of Atri Maharshi.
Anasuya Devi enquired all the details of Sita and was happy.
Anasuya Devi and Sita were closely chit-chatting all the subject matters.
After few days Sita, Ram and Laksghman decided to leave Atri Maharshi Ashra and wanted to enger the Dandakaranya (Deep Forest Dandakaranya).
But, all the rushis, munis in Atri Ashra warranted Ram and Lakshman not to go to this Dandakaranya Forest.
Ram and Lakshman were told that there will be more terible demons (Rakshas) seen in this Dandakaranya Forest apasrt from cruel animals.
For this Lakshman said that, if Ram is with us, there is no fear for us.
Also, Lakshman said that Ram has learned and expertized in use of astra-sastras.
As such, we are not at all afraid to any demons or cruel animals in the Dandakaranya.
You people are unaware of Ram’s power of strength.
After taking the blessings from Atri Ashrams people, Sita, Ram and Lakshman moved to Dandakaranya Forest.
